Process:

Step-01: Profile Assessment by the Academic Council to determine eligibility for the program.

Step-02: Enrolment process for successful applicants.

Step-03: Study of Research Methodology to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for conducting research.

Step-04: Submission of a Doctoral Proposal, under the guidance of a Supervisor appointed by the University Academic Council.

Step-05: Conducting Research Work, attending relevant seminars and conferences, and producing a Doctoral Thesis with the guidance of the Supervisor, The thesis must be at least 25,000 words in length.

Step-06: Evaluation and Acceptance of the thesis paper by the academic council.

Step-07: Qualifying for the Viva and Defense. The candidate must present their research work and defend their thesis in a viva voce examination conducted by external examiners.

Step-08: Publication of results and awarding of the certificate upon successful completion of the program.

Step-09: Optional attendance at the convocation ceremony.

Curriculum for DBA Program:

Unit-1: Research Methodology:

Quantitative and Qualitative [8 credits]: This course focuses on advanced techniques for analyzing quantitative empirical data, with a special emphasis on second-generation statistical approaches and their practical applications in research.

Unit-2: Philosophy:

Process of Applied Business Research [8 credits]: This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and development process of managerial business research.

Unit-3: Experiments:

Survey Design [8 credits]: This course provides students with an overview of methods and practices for creating and utilizing data based on experiments and surveys in research.

Unit-4: Scholarly

Conference/Seminar [16 credits]: This unit focuses on the attendance of students in different conference, seminars, and certifications etc in their field of study to enhance their knowledge and network with peers.

Unit-5: Doctoral:

Thesis [56 credits]: This unit requires students to undertake in-depth research in their chosen field and produce a doctoral thesis that meets the program's requirements.

Unit-6: Viva:

Defense [24 credits]: This final unit requires students to present and defend their doctoral thesis in a viva voce examination conducted by external examiners.
